Here are the five things you need to know before you go this morning.

5) The hit show “Breaking Bad” is about to be gone, but now New Mexico could be home to another hit TV show. NBC is about to start filming the pilot for the “Sixth Gun” near Santa Fe. It’s based on a comic book and is about six mythical guns in the Old West. and an innocent little girl has one of them. It stars Laura Ramsey and W. Earl Brown.

4) If you want to go see the Lobos play in the Mountain West Conference tournament in Las Vegas, Nevada next week and help some kids, you better hurry up. Two buses on the the “Tix for Kids” trip have already sold out and a third is on its way to being packed. Get your tickets by this Friday, the money goes to help underprivileged kids.

3) Very serious news now, this is about Albuquerque Police and one of its officers getting sued for shooting and killing and Iraq war veteran three years ago. Jury selection for Kenneth Ellis’s Civil Trial could start in just a couple hours. Back in 2010, Ellis had a gun to his own head when officer Bret Lampiris-Tremba shot and killed him. The jury will decide how much money the City owes Ellis’s family, because a judge ruled the shooting violated Ellis’s Constitutional rights.

2) The breaking news we’ve been following all morning, a shooting at Sandia Resort and Casino overnight. Our cameras caught one person being put in an ambulance and rushed to the hospital a little after three this morning. Investigators haven’t said much about what happened, we’ll have updates for you later today on News 13.

1) You’ll need the jackets again this morning. Today will be mostly sunny, with a high near 57, and a Southeast wind 5 to 10 mph becoming south in the afternoon. Then tonight will be partly cloudy, with a low around 35 and a South wind 5 to 10 mph.
