Another Storm On the WayFebruary 9th, 2013 at 8:19 pm by John Smith under Weather
Today’s winter storm brought some snow to the Northern Mountains and West Central sections, but most of the state got a healthy dose of wind. As the storm exits tonight, Sunday will be a much quieter day with less wind and breaking clouds for most of the state. Temps, however, will be much cooler, and snow will linger over the northern high terrain.
Another storm moves in Sunday night and into Monday. This storm will not pack as much wind, but more widespread snow will be possible. With colder air in place, even lower elevations could see a quick snow shower, while the higher terrain will see more accumulating snowfall.
Storm #2 clears out Tuesday, leading to a quieter end to the workweek with more sunshine and moderating temperatures.
