It’s time now for the five things you need to know before you go!
5) It’s almost the biggest night for music. The Grammy Awards will be this Sunday night right here on CBS, and get this, Radmilla Cody from New Mexico and a traditional Navajo songstress, will be walking the red carpet in full-on traditional Navajo attire. She is up for a Grammy in the “Best Regional Roots” category.
4) The Bernalillo County Clerk’s Office says they will certify the votes for the Albuquerque School Board today. This comes as the vote counting was completed Wednesday and in the tight District six race the difference between two candidates is just 12 votes.
3 ) Lobo Head Football Coach Bob Davie is speaking out about that anonymous letter that cast him in a bad light. He told News 13 that he’s no racist and he says everyone gets equal punishment regardless of race.
2) UNM Officials are holding a public meeting today to discuss the recent groping attacks and campus safety. That’s today from 11am to 1pm at the Sub Atrium. So far, two women have come forward saying they were groped while walking on campus. It has some students a little worried about being on campus at night.
1) Get ready for a cool down because a storm is brewing. It’ll be mostly sunny with a high near 60 and an East wind 5 to 10 mph becoming south 15 to 20 mph in the afternoon. Then tonight will be partly cloudy, with a low around 32 and a South wind 10 to 15 mph.
