THE STORMS LINE UP
We have tow different storms lined up to hit the state over the next four days. the way these storms track there is little doubt that mountains will be favored to get a huge majority of the snow. Clouds and snow will increase over the four corners and western NM late Friday night. The storm will cross the state on Saturday bringing the chance of heavy snow along the SW facing slopes. Other areas of the mountains could pick up light to moderate amounts of snow.
Here in the metro we could pick up a brief period of showers along the pacific front on Saturday. But that shouldn’t last too long. We will be far colder and windier throughout Saturday and Sunday too. Then another storm heads in late Sunday and Monday. This storm will likely track farther south getting more of the state involved snow wise.
Please send some snow to ABQ!
This story has made me hate my life.
Snow? Rain? What is that? It’s been so long since we have seen any moisture in the southeast part of the state that I have forgotten where the windshield wiper switch is located in my truck.
