Staying Warm and Quiet

A weak disturbance is moving toward New Mexico. For most, this will just mean more high clouds for Sunday. However, a few locations in the west could see spot drizzle throughout Sunday. This shouldn’t put a damper on any Super Bowl plans as most will stay completely dry!

Expect more sunshine and the above average temps to continue for the first part of the workweek. Late in the workweek, our next winter storm will close in. Right now, it appears some snow will develop north and west late Friday. Then, more widespread snow and mix for next weekend as colder air rushes in.

John, Gotta ask, if the untrained uneducated groundhog is 39% accurate, how accurate are the highly trained and educated weather folks?

I wish I could be 50% or less accurate at my job, still keep it, plus get paid what Mr. Smith and other “meteorologists” make. Oddly, they seem pretty accurate at forecasting temps and wind, but that’s about it.
