One Storm Down, One to GoJanuary 26th, 2013 at 6:36 pm by John Smith under Weather
Scattered showers will continue through the overnight hours as the first of two storms moves through the state. Being a warm storm, much of the precip will continue as rain overnight, though the Northern Mountains will pick up on some snow.
Sunday will feature clearing conditions as the storm exits the state. The Northern Mountains and Southern Colorado will continue to see some lingering showers, however.
Late Monday, shower activity will start to ramp back up as the second storm closes in on New Mexico. This storm will pack much cooler air, so more widespread snow over the north is possible with mixed precip in the metro. These showers will continue through Tuesday.
The middle and latter part of the workweek will feature more sunshine and warming temps.
