Here are the five things you need to know before you go!

5) Facebook is changing again…this time it has a new search engine called “Graph Search,” which lets users search their social connections for information about people, places, photos, and interests.

4) The 19th ranked Lobo Men’s Basketball takes on the Boise State Broncos tonight on the road. The Broncos play good defense and can really shoot the ball well and are well rested after a bye week. The 7pm game will be broadcast by the Root Network.

3) Today is the first full day of this year’s New Mexico Legislative Session. During her ‘State of the State Address’ Governor Susana Martinez laid out her plan for the 60-day session. Of course two of the biggest fights this year will be over drivers licenses for illegal immigrants again and the the state’s pension plans.

2) At about 9:45 this morning we will find out what plan President Obama has to reduce gun violence. Proposals such as an assault weapons ban and a size limit on ammunition magazines need congressional approval. Obama also will be unveiling more than a dozen executive orders, such as more anti-bullying efforts, and more federal research on gun use and crimes.

1) Bundle up those kids because it’s another cold morning! Today will be sunny, with a high near 37 and a Northwest wind around 5 mph. Then tonight will be clear, with a low around 14 North wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening.
