One More Frigid Night

January 15th, 2013 at 10:12 pm by under Weather

Temperatures will continue to crater tonight.  In fact, the record low for tomorrow morning is 7° and the forecast low is…you guessed it 7°.  With a blanket of snow and a very dry air mass overhead temps will be some of our coldest of the winter.  However, by tomorrow afternoon changes will begin the the form of a warmup.  Temps will top out in the high 30′s.  The warmup continues into the weekend when highs will hit the low 50′s.

There are no significant storms on the horizon.  In fact, there are no storms on the horizon at all.  Stay tuned.

What i’d like to know is why our temperatures in albuquerque are sometimes well below places like Toronto, or Anchorage. Why are we getting such a cold front? When are things gonna warm up?

Al Gore’s mansion’s heating system draws such a huge amount of intake air that it is pulling the jet stream down into the US from the Artic.
