E-Books available at Santa Fe Public Library
The Santa Fe New Mexican is reporting that the Santa Fe Public Library has launched an e-book system, allowing people to checkout two e-books at a time.
When your time is up, the e-book will simply disappear from your e-reader, so there will be no late fees.
However, some say this could hurt library revenue.
Library officials say the library made about $50,000 last year selling used books, something that wouldn’t be possible with e-books because of licensing restrictions.
