Quick Storm to Start the WeekJanuary 13th, 2013 at 5:14 pm by John Smith under Weather
It’s going to be another frigid night across New Mexico and Southern Colorado. While it won’t be quite as cold as last night, temps will still be well below freezing. Bringing in the pets and leaving faucets on a drip will be a good idea again tonight.
A quick moving system will brush the northern part of the state tomorrow. Winter Weather Advisories are in place as shown below. Lower elevations in these areas can expect 1″ – 3″ of snow, while the higher terrain could see up to 6″.
On the back end of the storm, another shot of cold air rolls in for Tuesday. This round of cold air will be short lived as high pressure starts to build in by the end of the week. Temps will start to warm back to near or just above normal by next weekend!
