Time now for the five things you need to know before you go!

5) This has got people all over the world talking–Will any US troops stay in Afghanistan after next year? That’s what President Obama and that country’s leader are set to talk about in just a few hours.

4) A version of “Katie’s Law” is now a national law. President Obama signed it yesterday giving states money to make laws to take DNA samples from anyone convicted of a felony. The law is named after Katie Sepich who was raped and murdered in Las Cruces back in 2003.

3) Target’s big job fair continues this weekend where it’s looking to hire 200 people for it’s now store in ABQ Uptown. Just head to the Marriott hotel across from the new store today from 11am to 7pm and tomorrow from 9am to 3pm. To apply ahead of time go to our homepage and click on news links.

2) At anytime today we should find out what will happen to the Lobo fan who pushed a UNLV player during a game at The Pit this week. It happened on national television and people all across the country are talking about. The fan was ejected after that happened and UNM says he could get booted from The Pit for the rest of the season.

1) Bundle up! It’ll be cold and windy with a 10-percent chance of snow showers. It’ll be mostly sunny, with a high near 37 and wind between 25 to 35 mph in the morning. Keep in mind that winds could gust as high as 50 mph. Then tonight will be partly cloudy, with a low around 14 and a Northwest wind 10 to 15 mph.
