A very cold and very windy storm will roll through the area over the next 24 hours. This storm will not pack big time snow. The highest accumulations will occur tonight over the Colorado San Juans where a foot plus is possible. Meanwhile here in NM 3″-6″ is possible over the San Juans and maybe 1″-4″ over other areas of the northern mountains.
The real thing to keep an eye on is the wind and cold. There is a high wind warning in the metro for tomorrow. Winds could hit 55 mph. Some snow showers are possible too but little accumulation is expected. Temps will be very cold through the weekend and into next week.
