Alamogordo may get new logo

The Alamogordo city commission might display “in god we trust” in city commission chambers.

A proposed resolution is up for a vote at Tuesday’s commission meeting will.

If it passes, the motto might also be included on the city’s logo.

Artesia approved a similar measure last year.

Officials say the potential cost of the change would be discussed the meeting, but they don’t believe it would run more than $1,000.
