A Storm Break Ahead…January 3rd, 2013 at 8:37 pm by Mark Ronchetti under Weather
A storm continues to move through southern New Mexico Thursday night. Snow amounts have been on the light side (around 1″-4″). That storm will exit early on Friday. In its wake we are looking at a cool weekend with plenty of sunshine. Highs will top out in the low 40′s in most valley sections.
Next week looks far more interesting storm wise. We have the chance to pick up two more storms. One on Tuesday and another on Thursday. Both could be potent storms. At the same time both could be what i like to call skimmers. Storms that clip the state. We need another couple model runs to tell if next next week will be a mess or just a mountain event.
