ABQ, Rio Rancho Christmas tree recycling

Wednesday people can start to recycle your old live Christmas trees for free in Albuquerque and Rio Rancho and pick up some free mulch.

Albuquerque:

Take trees to anyone of these three places from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Ladera Park Golf Course, or the Eagle Rock and Montessa Convenience Stations.

They will be taking the trees and grinding them into mulch until Sunday.

Rio Rancho:

Take trees to the Sports Complex anytime from now until January 18th.

You can pick up free mulch there too.
