Starting next month parts of downtown Albuquerque will provide the backdrop to a movie.

Crews will be filming all around the area starting on Jan. 8 including the Doubletree Hotel, Albuquerque Convention Center, Sunshine Theater and Sister Bar.

One film website says it’s for the movie “Frank” about a young musician who joins a band and discovers he’s bitten off more than he can chew.
