Rain, Snow and Wind….Oh My!December 14th, 2012 at 9:00 am by Nance Burgin under News, Weather
We are continuing to see a wintry storm system move across the state today, bringing snow, rain and windy conditions this afternoon. Shower chances will continue into the afternoon and evening with snow accumulations expected for the higher terrains.
Winds will be gusty through the rest of today and we may see gusts up to 40-50 mph at times, creating an uncomfortable wind chill and possible blowing snow.
Temperatures tonight will drop to well-below freezing, which means the possibility of icy roads tomorrow morning. Please use extreme caution when driving! A second storm will move through on Saturday, bringing another chance of snow showers for the western and northwestern parts of the state.
Be safe and have a wonderful weekend!
