Winter Storm Nearing NM!December 8th, 2012 at 6:06 am by Nance Burgin under Weather
Good Saturday morning to you!
Some exciting changes are heading our way in the form of our next wintry storm. Throughout today, we will continue to see afternoon highs only slightly above normal and winds will become gusty ahead of the storm. Expect very cold air to begin pouring into the state tonight into Sunday, followed by snow showers developing tomorrow morning.
Snow fall should begin Sunday morning, in the north, and work its way south throughout the day. Expect the heaviest snow to fall in the afternoon and through the evening. The most accumulations expected will be from the Sangres, south to the Eastern slopes of Sandias/Manzano mountains and east to Raton Pass.
Please make sure to use extreme caution when on the roadways beginning tomorrow!
