High-tech company coming to Rio Rancho

A high-tech company is expanding and coming to Rio Rancho, bringing at least two dozen jobs with them.

Stolar Research Corporation, based in Raton, designs and manufactures radio imaging equipment used for mining and mapping purposes.

The company says they will hire at least 25 people.

As part of the agreement for them to locate to Rio Rancho, the city will pay out about $400,000 to build their infrastructure.
