Christmas tree permits on sale

Thanksgiving is just three days away and before you know it, it’ll be Christmas time.

So if you want to buy your tree right after turkey day, you’re in luck. Some tree cutting and sales start Monday.

The Santa Fe National Forest offices are selling tree permits for $10, but you have to have a permit before you go out and cut a Christmas tree.

Offices will be closed on Thanksgiving Day.
