Time for the five things you need to know before you go!

5) The Elmo controversy continues. Now, the man who started this, saying he was a teenager and had a sexual relationship with Elmo’s puppeteer, Kevin Clash says he lied. He now claims the two got together when both were adults and everything was consensual.

4) If you have a Toyota then listen up. The company’s recalling almost three million second-generation Prius’s because they could have a problem with the steering shaft and that could prevent the car from going into hybrid mode and saving you gas. This is Toyota’s second recall in two months.

3) Big changes are about to come to kids who attend APS. The Albuquerque Journal is reporting that soon it’s going to be harder for them to get credit for taking online classes at charter schools. The reason for this is because last year a student failed an in-class English course, and then paid two-hundred bucks to a charter school for an online class that lasted one weekend to gain that credit.

2) How’s the City of Albuquerque doing? Well, we should find out tonight from Mayor RJ Berry’s State of the City Address. We’ll let you know what he says.

1) It’ll be a slightly warmer day today with a high near 56 degrees and a calm wind becoming southwest around 5 miles-per-hour. Then tonight will be partly cloudy, with a low around 33 degrees and a west wind around 5 miles-per-hour.
