It’s been more than 700 days since Lobos Junior redshirt guard Sara Halasz has enjoyed being on the court in a women’s basketball game. During the previous two seasons her year ended before the Lobos even played in exhibition game. A torn ACL had it’s way with Halasz in back to back seasons. This time she has made it through a pair of exhibition games and cannot wait to play in a regular season game. Even if she doesn’t score or pull down one rebound or add one assist, Sara will have plenty of reasons to smile wearing Lobos cherry and silver.
