Weather has impact on Balloon Fiesta attendance

The numbers are in for this year’s Balloon Fiesta and fiesta officials say bad weather had an impact on attendance.
Nearly 714,300 people visited the Balloon Fiesta, that number is down from 2011 with about 737, 400 visits.
Fiesta officials say wind, rain and lightning forced the cancelation of some of the most popular flying events including special shapes mass ascension and special shapes glowdeo.
