Quiet and Warm For Now…October 31st, 2012 at 10:32 pm by Mark Ronchetti under Weather
Mostly sunny skies will hold once again on Thursday. With high pressure traversing the state not much cloud cover for NM on Thursday. Even Friday looks pretty nice. At this point Friday does indeed look like our warmest day with near record high temps over eastern NM. Roswell could hit a high of 85°. This would tie a record. As a storm passes to our north over the weekend temps will drop back down to normal levels as a cold front moves east to west over the state. The front isn’t going to have a major impact but temps will come down by 8-10 degrees here in the metro.
As far as a storm goes nothing is on the horizon until late next week. Until then enjoy just about perfect fall weather.
