Cooler Air On The Way…October 25th, 2012 at 8:48 pm by Mark Ronchetti under Weather
Our coldest air of the fall season so far will be in place on Friday. Highs in the metro will only hit the low 50′s with mountain sections not getting out of the 30′s. Skies will remain largely clear however, so even though it will be a bit chilly the weather will still be quite nice. Temps on Saturday morning will be below freezing in most areas of the state and the metro will likely see a freeze. If we do drop below freezing it will be right on time as our average first freeze date is October 31st.
As far as storms go once again the story remains the same. there are no major precip makers on the horizon. So our secondary fire season will stay in place. Look for temps to moderate to more seasonal levels next week.
