When will we stop letting the ranching community dictate what goes on our public lands? Don’t want jaguars on your private land? Fine. However, the taxpayers have every right to determine what happens on public land even if grazing is allowed there.

I’m sad to know that as thrilled as I am there are some people, namely ranchers that probably are not. Ranchers need to be more proactive in the care and protection of their herds. They should follow the practice of the French and others of using Livestock Guardian Dog (LGD) breeds to protect their animals. it is a wise investment. I say education is the key to these issues around wolves and other predators. Do not exclude for the financial gain of others.
