Big Changes This Week!October 21st, 2012 at 5:00 pm by John Smith under Weather
The workweek will end very different from the way it begins. We’ll start off with mostly sunny skies across New Mexico, with temperatures still well above average. This will last through Tuesday.
On Wednesday, a storm system will drop into Colorado. The best chance of picking up a shower or two will be in Southern Colorado and over the Northern Mountains. The rest of New Mexico can expect some gusty winds with temperatures still above average.
Wednesday night, a cold front will push into the east and central parts of the state. That will cool temps by as much as 20° in the Eastern Plains! As the storm departs during the latter half of the workweek, another front will push in from the north. That will cool temps even more across east and central sections, and deliver a cool down for the west as well. Expect some of the coolest air of the season by next weekend!
