Halloween coming to Old Town

For a fun way to celebrate Halloween look to Old Town where the Old Town Merchants Association and the city’s Cultural Services Department are conjuring “Dia del Dulce” on Wednesday, Oct. 31.

Trick or treating at participating Old Town merchants will run from 4 – 7 p.m.

Other fun activities include:

  • 5 p.m. Pet Parade and Animal Costume Contest at the Gazebo
  • 6 p.m. Halloween Performance by the Interplay School of Music & Art
  • 7 p.m. People Costume Contest at Plaza Don Luis, sponsored by Aceves Old Town Basket & Rug Shop

The event is free to the public.

Attendees to Old Town events are encouraged to use public transportation. There is a Rapid Ride bus stops at Central and Rio Grande, a short block from the Plaza.
