Quiet Week AheadOctober 14th, 2012 at 4:32 pm by John Smith under Weather
The workweek is going to start with lots of sunshine across the Land of Enchantment! Temperatures will continue to warm as well. Highs Monday will reach the 60s in the northern mountains, the 70s from the northeast to the metro and southwest, and even the 80s in parts of the east. Temps continue to climb on Tuesday in the east where some locations in the southeast will reach 90°!
A storm system currently arriving ashore in the Pacific Northwest will pass to the north during the early part of the workweek. A back door cold front will arrive as the storm departs Wyoming and Colorado during the middle of the week. This will cool temps in the east by as much as 10° – 15° by Thursday.
The cool down is short lived, however, as temps rebound by next weekend. The week will end much in the way it started, sunny and warm!
