Time for the five things you need to know before you go today!

5) Will Jerry Sandusky die in prison or catch a break? That’s what we’ll find out in just a few hours as he gets sentenced after being convicted of sexually molesting 10 boys. All were connected to his charity and Penn State University. He is expected to speak at the hearing today.

4) Investigators are looking for whoever shot and killed a man in the south valley. Deputies say two men were shot at a home on La Vega and Arenal yesterday morning. One of the men died and the other was able to get away and call for help. He underwent surgery and is expected to be okay. Deputies are still looking for the suspect.

3) It’s not November yet but you can start voting today! Also, today is the last day to register to vote for the November election.
