Santa Fe and nearby mountain trails will be alive with fat-tire bicyclists starting Wednesday as the International Mountain Bicycling Association brings its world gathering to town.

The biennial World Summit is expected to draw hundreds of attendees and features a bike and gear expo, daily group rides in the mountains outside Santa Fe, meetings, workshops and a fun criterium around the Santa Fe Plaza.

Headquarters for the Wednesday-Saturday event is the Santa Fe Convention Center.
