One More Warm Day…October 2nd, 2012 at 10:09 pm by Mark Ronchetti under Weather
Temps will continue to warm over the next day or so. Highs in the SE will be in the mid 90′s while here in the metro temps will top out in the mid to high 80′s. Mostly sunny skies will hold into Thursday. By Thursday afternoon a cold front will plow into the east. This will drop temps down to seasonal averages. Then yet another stronger front will move into the state late Friday and Saturday. In the metro we could see gusty east winds through Saturday morning. That could pose problems for Firesta and the first mass ascension.
Beyond that another big weather maker will set its sights on New Mexico. A strong storm will be possible Wednesday-Friday next week.
