Here’s a quick summary of some of what we talked about today:

  • Zoo ticket prices
  • Car recall
  • Balloon Fiesta!
Could tickets to the zoo get cheaper again?  That’s what Albuquerque City Councilors are set to talk about tonight.  Some aren’t happy the mayor raised prices without their approval – from $7 to $10 for adults and $3 to $4.50 for kids and seniors.  Councilor Ken Sanchez wants prices to go down to $8 for adults and back to the original $3 for everyone else.
If you have a Chevrolet, Pontiac or Saturn, read this – 40,000 of them are getting recalled because their fuel pumps could be bad and could lead to a dangerous fuel leak.  Here are the vehicles that are affected – Chevrolet: 2007-2009 Cobalt, 2007 Equinox; Pontiac: 2007-2009 G5, 2007 Torrent; Saturn: 2007 Ion.
Balloon Fiesta starts this Saturday!  RV’s are starting to pack the park today.  More than 3,500 will be there this weekend.  And hotels are selling out fast.  In fact, it looks like most hotels in Albuquerque are already sold out for the first weekend.  Are you excited for the fiesta?
