Clear west, storm shot eastSeptember 29th, 2012 at 5:15 pm by Ian Schwartz under News, Weather
A calm day for most of New Mexico today with some limited storm activity in the NE.
Storms will continue to roll along the Sangre De Cristo Mountains this evening but will start to dwindle by tonight.
Sunday will mean clear conditions for most of western NM with another round of storms possible in the north and the northeast.
A cold front pushing into the northeast will help to fire the storms, but it wont drop temperatures too much.
As we start the week more sunshine and dry conditions will take over as a ridge of high pressure starts to build in from the west.
Another cold front will push into the northeast Wednesday into Thursday. This front isn’t packing a lot of moisture, but it will drop temperatures in many locations.
Have a great weekend!
