New Mexico will see a little bit of everything this weekend! Moisture will continue to stick around in the Eastern Plains, providing a good shot at showers once again for Saturday afternoon. Drier air will continue work into the Four Corners and Southern Colorado, leading to more sunshine. The metro will be caught in between, with a mix of sun and clouds and chances of a spot shower or two in the afternoon.

Sunday a back door cold front crosses the state. The best chance of showers will continue to be in the east with a slight chance of a shower west of the central mountain chain. Behind the front, slightly cooler air will move in to start the workweek next week.

The cooler air will be short lived as temperatures quickly rebound into the middle of next week. Drier air works in across the entire state leading to more sunshine for the entire state for much of next week!
