If you didn’t catch News 13 New This Morning, you missed a lot. We’d love for you to share your thoughts and opinions with us continue the conversation all day long.
Here’s a quick summary of some of what we talked about today:
- Sad story
- Free dogs
- Labor Day travel
Vicente Griego, the little boy hurt in what Albuquerque Police are calling a drunk driving crash last weekend, is now brain dead and will be taken off life-support soon. His father tells us doctors are keeping Vicente alive to donate his organs to nine other children who need them.
Albuquerque’s animal shelters are giving away dogs next weekend. The shelters are so overcrowded, they’re giving away dogs that are one and older. This is going on NEXT weekend – the weekend after Labor Day. You have to bring your ID to the shelter and go through a background check.
Are you traveling on this Labor Day weekend? If so, you’re not alone. AAA says 2.4 million people in the west will travel, most of them driving. Get ready to pay more for gas this weekend, too – blame that on what was Hurricane Isaac.
