Photos: Car burns on I-40

A car fire early this evening shut down part of Interstate 40 in Albuquerque.

The fire was reported shortly before 7 p.m. in the westbound lanes just west of the Carlisle Boulevard overpass.

The car is on the shoulder, and at least one traffic lane is blocked.

Additional details were not immediately available.
