NM lost 4,000 jobs

The Department of Workforce Solutions says New Mexico lost 4,000 jobs from June 2011 to 2012.

The government sector lost the most jobs while the private sector actually added jobs in areas like manufacturing, education and retail.

Even with the job losses the metro unemployment rate dropped to seven percent in June, down from 7.2 percent in May.
