High pressure will stay anchored over the state through the week and probably into the weekend. This will lead to above average temps and virtually no chance of significant rain. The best shot for showers will be over the SW portion of the state but even those chances only sit at 30%.
Looking out at the long range forecast there is not much to get excited about. Even two weeks out the high position does not look great. However, whenever you look this far out much can change.
One other note. I just looked up the latest ocean temp number for Nino 3.4 That’s the area we monitor for El Nino. Anything above +.5° mean El Nino. We are currently +.6° So at least we have that going for us.
