Temps down, storm chances upJune 30th, 2012 at 9:31 pm by Ian Schwartz under News, Weather
It was a VERY hot day in Albuquerque today!
Temps topped out at 101 at the Sunport and some highs were at 105 around the city.
Some storms fired off in the NE and SW mountains, but the coverage was very limited.
Sunday will mean slightly cooler temps with a shot for storms in the mountains.
For the start of the week we will increase the availible moisture and also our storm chances.
Areas west of the central mountain chain will see a better shot at storms throughout the week.
Albuquerque will see a slight uptick in storm chances, but the set up won’t mean a washout by any means.
Have a great weekend!
