What You Missed Friday MorningJune 29th, 2012 at 7:27 am by Matt Mauro under Morning Show, News
If you didn’t catch News 13 New This Morning, you missed a lot. We’d love for you to share your thoughts and opinions with us continue the conversation all day long.
Here’s a quick summary of some of what we talked about today:
- Healthcare law
- Grocery store to downtown Albuquerque
- The Lone Ranger set pictures
People are still talking about the Affordable Care Act, aka, the healthcare law. The Supreme Court of the United States upheld most of it yesterday. Do you think this is good or bad news for Americans? Kyle Berg wrote us on Facebook, “Good news, people need coverage. As long as health insurers don’t get greedy, it shouldn’t get too expensive.” However, Billy Valentine disagrees, “bad due to forcing us to pay and not having the choice to get it, we all know when times are rough we can not pay more.” What do you think?
Albuquerque’s mayor is trying to get a grocery store downtown, specifically in a lot near 2nd and Silver. The city says more than 10,000 people now live in downtown Albuquerque and about 30,000 work there. What store would you like to see downtown? Would this entice you to move there?
We just got a hold of new pictures from The Loan Ranger set! They’re from producer Jerry Bruckheimer’s twitter account. Check them out here and let us know what you think!
