Turberculosis above national average in NM

New data from the CDC shows that cases of active tuberculosis have stayed steady in New Mexico despite a six percent decline nationally last year.

The mortality rate among Native Americans and foreign born Hispanics was four times the national average.

A prevention and treatment meeting for the public will be held tomorrow in Santa Fe.
