397 New Mexican Soldiers died in Vietnam!

All but six have a photograph to be placed by their names at the National Vietnam Memorial Fund Museum, near the Memorial Wall, In Washington DC and The Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Angel Fire, NM.

A group of New Mexico Vietnam Veterans have located photos of the fallen veterans by making hundreds of calls, traveling the state and surrounding areas, and online research. Now they need the help of the larger community to locate the remaining six photos of the following soldiers: CWO James Grady Bulloch, BM1 Robert Melvin Dow, PFC Alvin James Munson, CPL Raymond Yazzie, SGT Bobby Joe Martinez, CPL Eddie Charles. Arthur De Vargas one of the veterans leading this effort states, “If you know these soldiers or their family, call and help locate a picture. Let’s honor these soldiers and let us never forget that they gave their lives for our country!”

Call 505.897.0926 or email artdevargas@msn.com if you have contact information for family members or photos of these veterans.
