Pollen numbers rising
Depending on your allergy you may already know pollen counts are starting even though the calendar shows a month left till spring and eight days to the official start of pollen season.
The city of Albuquerque Air Quality Division has been posting occasional pollen counts since January as a mild winter and intermittent snow and rain create spring-like conditions.
Today’s pollen report shows elm creeping into the medium level while juniper/cedar, a notorious enemy of allergy sufferers, remains low.
Additional information on how the city collects and counts pollen and a link to signing up for pollen reports by e-mail can be found on the Air Quality Division website.
