Teachers in Buffalo, New york are getting plastic surgery for free under the health plan that taxpayers are partially paying for.  The procedures available include everything from liposuction to breast augmentation. Public outrage has been growing as the district deals with growing economic hardships.

I’d like to see the actual coverages in the health plan because this sounds exaggerated, to me. Many health plans cover “plastic surgery” (a term that encompasses reconstructive surgery, not merely cosmetic procedures) such as breast reduction (which frequently includes a small amount of liposuction of the axillary areas), eyelid surgery, and a few other things. But I’ve never heard of any health plan covering breast augmentation. Sure would like to see the source to verify that.
