The Albuquerque Public Schools board meets in special session tomorrow to take another look a new board-member districts critics say shortchange the West Side.

Redistricting is the only item on the agenda for the 5 p.m. meeting in the board room at APS headquarters, 6400 Uptown NE.

During the recent legislative session a Senate committee voted to overturn the redistricting plan, but APS responded by saying the state Constitution reserves redistricting power for the school districts alone.

Board members have said their willing to take a second look at the plan although nothing may change.
