Sipapu Ski and Summer Resort is reporting its overnight snow total from the winter storm ranks it among the top three ski areas in the country reporting new snow today.

The 24-hour snowfall as of 5:30 a.m. totaled 10 inches with base depths reported at 43-51 inches.

More snow is forecast this week, according to a statement from Sipapu.

The ski area is on State Road 518 between Taos and Las Vegas.
