Another winter storm is closing in on the state for Tuesday.  A Winter mix will push through the state from NW to central sections.  Here in the metro we could pick up brief heavy mix in the afternoon as the front pushes through.  Temps will cool behind the front.  The area that will be hardest hit will be the west slopes of the northern mountains.  In these areas above 8,000′ we could see 4″-8″ of snow.  There are more storms on the horizon.  We could see another by the end of the work week.  At this point this storm looks like it might favor the south.
