NM jail in seeks more guards

A lack of interest in filling guard positions is apparently causing a staffing problem at the Eddy County Detention Center in southeastern New Mexico.
The jail is down about 15 detention officers.
The jail’s acting warden is discussing ways to get the word out about job openings including advertising on billboards.
