Child abuse hotline restored

The state’s #SAFE hotline for reporting child abuse is is back in operaton.
The line failed at about 2:45 p.m., and the phone provider had it back in operation shortly after 4 p.m., a spokesman for the Children, Youth and Families Department said.
The outage also affected main hotline number, (855) 333-SAFE (333-7233) number.
